The Food & Beverage Department of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is accepting orders for the Brickyard Box Lunch, a satisfying meal to enjoy on Race Day at the track. Fans may place orders for the Indianapolis 500, Allstate 400 at the Brickyard and Red Bull Indianapolis GP and pick up their lunch on Race Day at IMS. Brickyard Box Lunches come with a freshly made sandwich or chef salad, and a delicious fried chicken breast, chips, fresh apple, baked beans, cookie, condiments and a choice of two beverages that will keep fans satisfied until the end of the race. There are four box lunch options available: 'Ham and cheese sandwich 'Turkey and cheese sandwich 'Italian sub sandwich 'Speedway special chef salad with ranch dressing The cost of a Brickyard Box Lunch is $14.95 each.
Astana barred from ASO events

Well, I am hearing a good one about a guy we all like. Pretty Ricky's former lead singer Pleasure P is still a free agent and I heard Team Bad Boy might be picking him up. Now, I don't claim that I know P.P.'s work, but this guy is the only guy from Pretty Ricky who I heard of. No, disrespect, but I don't listen to the group. Anyway, P.P. might be the right addition to Bad Boy. He's like the complete opposite of Janelle Monae in every way.

Even so, this is clearly the biggest gathering of Democrats since 2002, rivaling recent Republican bashes. Among the first people we ran into was Martin Luther King III, who said he might possibly issue an endorsement in the presidential campaign now that it's down to two people.
Sony leery of the Eee PC?
LAS VEGAS--As a computer, the Eee PC from ASUS is intended to be the opposite of intimidating--it's made for children after all. But its potential as a market force is apparently giving chills to its larger industry peers.
Here at Sony's annual Open House event, the senior vice president of Sony's IT product division said the tiny S$598 (US$380.46) notebook could potentially shift the entire notebook industry.
"If (the Eee PC from) ASUS starts to do well, we are all in trouble. That's just a race to the bottom," said Mike Abary.

The Globe has decided to resurrect the old African-American "welfare queen" canard on the latest home mortgage crisis ("Broker's clients detail web of dashed dreams," Jan. 20). I see it as an outrageous exploitation by the rich and powerful of the poor, mostly African-Americans, and other minorities and their communities. Did you know that African-Americans and other minorities who do honestly qualify for a mortgage generally pay more? BWB. Borrowing While Black. This same criminally inflated real estate bubble happened 20 years ago and caused the collapse of the savings and loan industry. But instead of this experience informing the politicians, who raked in the campaign contributions, or the media, who lapped up the advertising dollars, it only informed the criminal conspirators, who were more brazen this time than the last, making bad loans to desperate working people who lost confidence in the rental market.
